Fueligo helps drivers find the cheapest fuel and nearest EV chargers. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, where it lives, and what we do with it.

When you search for nearby fuel or chargers, we use your device's GPS coordinates to find results. Your location is used only to perform that search and is never stored on our servers. Your last searched location is saved locally on your device only.
If you use the Spending Tracker, your fill-up history (date, station, fuel type, litres, price, total cost) is stored entirely on your device. It is never uploaded to our servers.
If you attach a receipt photo to a fill-up entry, that image is compressed and stored on your device only. It is never transmitted to Fueligo or any third party.
Saved stations, price alerts, and preferences are stored on your device only. Nothing is synced to a server unless you create an account.
Creating an account is optional. If you sign in, your name and email address are stored securely to enable features like cross-device search history. We do not share this with third parties.
When you use certain features, limited data is sent to third-party services. We only send the minimum required.
All location data sent to these services goes through our own server (api.fueligo.co.uk) — your device never contacts TomTom or OCM directly.
Fuel prices are sourced from a publicly available government dataset (Department for Energy Security & Net Zero) and from Open Charge Map. We process this data to power the app's search features.
Because almost all data is stored locally on your device, you are already in full control. You can delete your data at any time by clearing the app's storage. For any account data, you have the right to:

Fueligo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Local data (fill-ups, receipts, alerts) is retained on your device until you delete it. If you delete the app, this data is removed. Account data is retained until you request deletion.
If we make significant changes, we will notify you in the app. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
